Dear Professor Smith,
I am Li Ming from the English Department. On behalf of the Students’ Union, I am writing to invite you to serve as a judge at our upcoming English Speech Contest.
The contest will take place in the university auditorium on November 20 from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. About thirty contestants will deliver speeches on the theme “Youth and Responsibility.” Your professional insight and native-speaker perspective would greatly inspire the participants and ensure a fair evaluation.
We would be truly honored if you could accept this invitation. Please let me know your availability at your earliest convenience.
Yours sincerely,
Li Ming
语气礼貌克制,可套用on behalf of、would be honored、at your earliest convenience。

In the drawing, a group of graduates are hesitating at a crossroads after graduation. Four signs point to different paths: employment, entrepreneurship, studying abroad, and postgraduate entrance examination. Their hesitant expressions and wandering gazes reveal their confusion and anxiety. The scene vividly captures the dilemma facing many young people today.
The intended meaning is clear. When too many options are presented, people may feel more anxious rather than freer. This anxiety often stems from a lack of self-awareness and excessive worry about outcomes. Graduates may be torn between what they want and what others expect, and they fear making the wrong choice.
In my view, there is no single right path for everyone. What matters is to think carefully about what one truly wants, and then take responsibility for the consequences of one's choice. A practical suggestion is to set a clear personal goal and make a firm decision before acting, because hesitation itself is, in fact, the greatest obstacle.
可用 hesitate at the crossroads / be torn between 等,结尾给一句务实建议。
