参考译文Due to the rapid development of communication networks, the number of smartphone users in China has grown at an astonishing rate in recent years. This has greatly changed the way many people read. They now often read news and articles on smartphones instead of buying traditional newspapers and periodicals. The development of a large number of mobile applications has enabled people to read novels and other forms of literary works on their phones. As a result, the sales of paper books have been affected. However, surveys show that despite the steady growth of the mobile reading market, more than half of adults still prefer to read paper books.

参考范文Living in a big city has its allure, but it also comes with a set of challenges that residents must navigate.
Firstly, the high cost of living is a significant burden. Housing prices and rents are notoriously expensive, which can be a major obstacle for those on a tight budget. Moreover, the hustle and bustle of city life can lead to increased stress levels. The constant noise, pollution, and crowded public transport can take a toll on one's mental health. Lastly, the anonymity of city life can be isolating. Many people feel disconnected from their neighbors and lack a sense of community.
In conclusion, while big cities offer numerous opportunities, they also present challenges that require resilience, practical planning and adaptability from residents.
