参考译文The Yellow River is the third longest river in Asia and the sixth in the world. The character 'Huang' describes the muddy color of its water. Originating from Qinghai, the Yellow River flows through nine provinces before emptying into the Bohai Sea. It is one of the rivers that China relies on for survival. The Yellow River basin is the birthplace of ancient Chinese civilization and the most prosperous region in China's early history. However, due to frequent destructive floods, the Yellow River has caused many disasters. Over the past few decades, the government has taken various measures to prevent disasters.

参考范文I am selling three course books that I used at college: Introduction to Economics, Advanced Calculus and Principles of Marketing. They cover the basic theories of their subjects and include useful examples and practice exercises. If you will take these courses next term, these books may help you prepare.
