Directions: For this part, you are allowed 30 minutes to translate a passage from Chinese into English. You should write your answer on Answer Sheet 2.

There is an old Chinese saying: "He who teaches me for one day is my father for life." In the eyes of the Chinese people, teachers not only impart knowledge but, more importantly, teach students how to be a good person. In ancient times, students would hold a grand ceremony when they met their teacher for the first time, which shows how high the status of teachers was. In order to carry forward the fine tradition of respecting teachers, China designated September 10th of each year as Teachers' Day, starting from 1985. On this day, students express their respect for their teachers in various ways. Respecting teachers is a traditional virtue of the Chinese nation, and it has been further promoted in today's society.

As artificial intelligence advances rapidly, robots are expected to play an increasingly important role in campus life. In my view, their future applications will make our study and daily routines both more efficient and more convenient.

To begin with, robots can greatly improve learning. Intelligent tutoring robots may offer one-on-one guidance, answering students' questions at any time and adjusting to each learner's pace. In laboratories, they can assist with dangerous or repetitive experiments, allowing students to focus on thinking rather than routine operations. Moreover, service robots can take care of everyday tasks such as delivering packages, cleaning classrooms and patrolling the campus at night, which frees up time and enhances safety.

Of course, robots should assist rather than replace human interaction. Used wisely, they will free students from trivial chores and let us devote ourselves to creative and meaningful work. I firmly believe that a smart campus supported by robots is not far away.
