空格后of us与walk straight into the woods without a phone构成对比:手机普及下,不带手机进林的人极少,故选Few。
run on表示“靠…… put/take/come on均不能表示“以电池为动力”,语义不通。
formally(正式地)、relatively(相对地)、gradually(逐渐地)均无法修饰“找不到北”这一事实。
答案A
next/around/away都不能准确表达“返回”这一方向。
答案B
解析well off a trail表示已经明显偏离小路、离开既定路线。off a trail是惯用搭配。onto(上到)、across(穿过)、alone(独自,且词性不符)均不能表达“偏离小径”。
unattractive(不吸引人)、uncrowded(不拥挤)、unchanged(未改变)与迷路定位无关。
答案C
解析Which way is downhill问的是“这一带哪边是下坡”。 site/point/place侧重地点本身,不能回答“往哪边走才是下坡”。
答案A
答案A
解析认出熟悉的岩石或树木能迅速让人找回方位,对此你会感到surprised(惊讶于恢复方向感之快)。annoyed、frightened、confused与“restore your bearings”的正面效果相反。
Above all表首要、In contrast表对比、On average表平均,均不合举例关系。
解析people carve paths through the woods:人们在林中开辟道路。
解析these breaks回指上文gaps in the tree line,即树线中的断裂、缺口。
答案A
答案A
解析look for the marks we leave on the landscape:寻找人类留在地貌上的痕迹。
